“And now for my next number, I’d like to return to the classics.” Aurora is a tribute to classical music, turntables, and record covers. The project melds classical music with the physical interaction of audio players. Designed in the retro-futurism of the 80s, users transform classic piano sounds into electronic remixes using a slider. The components, planned in Sketchup and shaped with a laser cutter from acrylic glass, are brought to life by an Arduino connected to a slider, an NFC sensor, and RGB LEDs to control the music and lighting effects.
